Here you will find numerous biking paths, hiking routes and educational trails which are the best way to truly experience the richness of this land.
The region’s cultural heritage, customs and traditions are reflected in local events, such as the Traditional Music Festival “Na Rozstajnych Drogach” (“At the crossroads”) or the Buckwheat Festival “Gryczaki”. Another event worth visiting is the country’s biggest pottery event during which you can try your hand at the potter’s wheel.
Unspoiled nature, silence, calm and relaxation – all of these are valuable attributes difficult to find in our daily lives. Janów Lubelski is a small but very cosy city. It can boast of well-kept streets and refurbished main square. In the former Dominican monastery complex and in the Tsarist prison can be found the unique examples of Baroque architecture. Moreover, the city offers a variety of activities in the Zoom Natury Recreation Park which is a leisure, recreation and entertainment venue.
