One of the numerous attractions of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship is the trail created as a part of the Flint Circle Project. Here you will move back to the times when dinosaurs ruled the Earth and you will discover their tracks. You can connect active leisure with great fun and education.
Go rafting on the picturesque river Kamienna and enjoy an amazing view of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. In Krzemionki you can visit the underground tourist route presenting the interiors of Neolithic flint mines which were mined over 5,000 years ago.
Then go to Bałtów and visit the first Jurassic Park in Poland. It will provide you with some unique experiences. While walking among the well-reconstructed models of various dinosaurs you can try to imagine what life was like million years ago. Children can make their own discoveries and feel like real paleontologists thanks to the special paleontological stands.
Another attraction of this area is the Bałtów Zoo where you can meet various animals, including alpacas, llamas and ostriches. Great year-round attractions are horseback riding and exploring the nearby porcelain factory AS Ćmielów. Here, you will learn how ceramic is made and during the workshops you will be able to create your own porcelain object.
