The Great Lithuanian Route

The Great Lithuanian Route for several centuries was one of the most vital trade routes of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

It connects Warsaw to Vilnius.

The Great Lithuanian Route starts at Krakowskie Przedmieście in Warsaw and the Wessel Palace marks its beginning. Then the Route runs to East Mazovia and Podlasie leading through charming towns and multi-ethnic villages, where one can find Orthodox and Catholic churches, synagogues and mosques.

Diversity of cultural and natural landscapes makes the journey there an authentic and unforgettable experience.

The Route includes cities, hotels and other accommodation facilities, agritourism farms, restaurants, as well as museums and cultural facilities; it is an unique offer combining cultural, culinary and active tourism.
